Celebrating Barbara Egan: Kelowna Top 40 Under 40 & Citizen of the Year

The community has recognized our founder, Barbara Egan Kelowna clinical counsellor and mental health advocate, on a city-wide scale. Specifically, local leaders honored her as a top young professional as well as nominating her for a highly prestigious community award.

Recognized Among Kelowna’s Top 40 Under 40

First, we are thrilled that the local Chamber named Barbara to this year’s Top 40 Under 40 list. The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce drives this wonderful initiative. It highlights young professionals making significant strides in their fields. Importantly, these leaders also actively give back to the community. In addition to the Top 40 honour, Barbara’s community involvement earned her another special nod. She received a nomination for the Anita Tozer Memorial Award. People traditionally know this as the Citizen of the Year award.
