I am a wife, mama to four, health & wellness enthusiast, and coffee lover. I am a former elite hockey player and coach turned counsellor that specializes in working with athletes to support their mental health, and enhance their mental game and performance with sports psychology strategies. As a counsellor in Kelowna, BC, I specialize in helping people overcome anxiety, stress, depression, and negative self-talk (among other areas). As a wife and mom, I love working with other moms, couples, and families. As a clinical supervisor, I love empowering and pouring into other therapists as they pour out to their clients. Afterall, we *all* have stuff and can benefit from counselling and a safe, supportive person and strategies.
Hello, I’m Robin (she/her) and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and I consider myself to be a wellness enthusiast who is passionate about helping others navigate their life journey. I work with individuals and couples specializing in couples counselling, grief counselling, and menopause/ women’s issues.
I have spent my career discovering and sharpening my skills as a mental health clinician. By attending workshops, courses and galvanizing therapeutic modalities (with an attachment, person-centered, EFT and CBT lens), I have honed my skills to attend to the diverse needs of my clients. As importantly, is my lived experience of the many challenges and successes of 25 years of marriage and raising 4 children in a blended family. From this I have gleaned that there is never one right way to improve a situation, though there are easier paths than others to get there.

Shawna is a mom of three kids, enjoying small-town life in the Similkameen. Her original background is in environmental planning and environmental health. Upon entering motherhood and having three kids close together, she felt totally overwhelmed by motherhood and it took a toll on her health and marriage. With counselling, and a lot of inner work, she grew a passion to help other moms turn off the autopilot living and show up for their lives, on purpose. This prompted her to seek training as a coach and a counsellor. Shawna enjoys music, painting, being outside, and that beloved daily coffee.
