What makes me come alive?
Hi, I’m Kayla Davies.
I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. I have always been curious about the “why” behind our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and the experiences, relationships, and patterns that shape who we are.
I believe that our stories, attachment patterns, and relationships influence the way we see ourselves, navigate challenges, and connect with others. Through therapy, I help clients explore these patterns with compassion, develop greater self-awareness, and create meaningful change in their lives.
My approach is warm, curious, and grounded in creating a safe space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. I integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care while tailoring therapy to each person’s needs, values, and goals.
As a wife, mother of three, and Christian, I bring empathy, openness, and a values-driven perspective to my work. When desired, I offer a faith-informed approach that honours each client’s beliefs and spiritual journey.
Outside of counselling, I enjoy cooking, gardening, home projects, and spending time with my family. I value the everyday moments that create connection, growth, and meaning.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, overthinking, relationship challenges, burnout, or a season of change, I offer a warm, grounded space to help you better understand yourself, explore the patterns that influence the way you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others, and create meaningful change with greater self-compassion and confidence.
