What makes me come alive?
I am Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and hold a Master of Arts degree in Counselling from Providence University College & Theological Seminary. My academic background also includes studies in business and French language; however, I’ve found that my enduring passion lies in supporting individuals as they explore the psychological, relational, and environmental contexts that shape their growth and challenges. I have enjoy working with people of all ages, including kids and teens.
My clinical work is grounded in the development of a strong therapeutic alliance, which is consistently identified as a key predictor of positive treatment outcomes. I prioritize creating a collaborative, culturally responsive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel emotionally safe to explore their experiences.
I practice from an integrative framework, primarily informed by humanistic and attachment-based theories. I draw on Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) principles to help clients identify and restructure emotional responses, strengthen attachment security, and improve relational functioning. Depending on client needs and treatment goals, I integrate evidence-based practices that support emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility, and meaningful, self-directed change. These may include elements of CBT, ACT, IFS, narrative therapy and somatically informed approaches.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time outdoors-exploring local trails, skiing with friends, or growing a vegetable garden.
