Meet Christina,
Registered Social Worker (RSW) at Alive Counselling
this is me:
What makes me come alive
My name is Christina, and I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) passionate about providing my clients with empathic support throughout their mental health journey. I believe that mental well-being fluctuates, depending on our sense of self, our surroundings and the season of life. I recognize how intimidating it can be to reach out for support. My goal is to provide a safe space, where clients can feel heard and can share their thoughts, feelings and experiences, while being met with compassionate and care. We all need help at different points in our life- whether this means feeling stuck, navigating complex hurt or adjusting to new beginnings. Using a strengths-based approach, I can help you uncover and remind yourself of your inner strengths and resources.
My counselling practice is person-centered and holistic. I understand and value that each client is the expert of their life. I honour and acknowledge the psycho-social cultural backgrounds of my clients, as we work together to process and heal from challenging times. I hold space for clients, as we develop strategies to maintain well-being that is meaningful to their unique life, barriers and goals.
I currently provide in person counselling, as well as online and phone sessions. I see clients ages 18 and over. I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your mental health journey
